Pointon F.C - Juniors Flying High

 

A few years ago some like minded dedicated parents started on a path with the aim of creating a friendly family based ethos at Pointon football club.  With dedicated volunteers and coaches the player numbers have increased dramatically and the teams currently playing in the mid Lincolnshire and Grantham Leagues include an under 11's, under 14's, under 15's, two under 16's as well as an intermediate under 18's team.

 

At the time of publication the club are proud to announce that the Under 11's, Under 14's, Under 15's and Under 16's are all top of their respective leagues.

 

Last season Pointon football club forged links with primary schools in Lincolnshire by Hosting a schools tournament which was a great success and raised funds for the St Gilberts School.  Another tournament is planned for May this year.

 

In the coming season Pointon FC plan to create two new teams at lower age groups under 7's and under 10's.  If you have a boy or girl who would be interested in playing or you are interested in coaching  / managing one of the teams please contact Elliot Newman on 07514 944964.
